Next Generation Catalogs: New Worlds to Explore

Join your library colleagues for a day of networking and learning about Next-Generation Catalogs.

Eric Lease Morgan (University of Notre Dame), noted library trend-watcher and next-gen catalog expert, will be the keynote speaker. Other sessions include procurement and management of next-generation catalogs, an introduction to WorldCat Local, an open source ILS update, and lightning presentations and demos of eighteen different software solutions! In the closing keynote, Sean Robinson (Allen County Public Library) will focus on the user experience of Next Gen Catalogs and touch on ACPL's use of LibraryThing in their system.

UPDATE - IOLUG has received approval as an Indiana Library Education Unit Provider and the Spring 2009 Program, Next-Generation Catalogs: New Worlds to Explore, is worth a total of 6 Technology LEUs.

Due to overwhelming response for this program, we are closing registrations for this program. Onsite registrations will also no longer be accepted.
