Announcing the Indiana Online Users Group Fall Program for 1999

"Electronic Reference Around the Clock: How Close are We?"

Friday, October 22, 1999     9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Indiana Wesleyan University Conference Center
Indianapolis, Indiana

Come learn about electronic reference; where it's been and where it's going, and what our patrons need (and expect!) from us. Hear practicing librarians talk about what they do on a day-to-day basis. Enjoy a prequel for the Spring 2000 IOLUG meeting on information literacy. Ask questions and participate in our "Stone Soup" session.

Speakers include Ann Bristow and Jian Liu, Indiana University; D. Scott Brandt, Purdue University; Lynn Hobbs, Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library; Bonnie Grimble, Carmel High School, and Terri Whitehead, independent consultant on information literacy.

The conference will be held at the Indianapolis campus of Indiana Wesleyan University, at the Conference Center, located just north of I-465, east of Keystone Avenue.
