Featured Speakers

Dr. Howard Rosenbaum, IU School of Library & Information Science, will address the strengths and weaknesses of web instruction.

Julie Sykes, Director of Instructional Technology, IUPUI, will discuss and demonstrate interactive capabilities in web instruction.

Judy Pask, Purdue University, will discuss the development and use of PLUTO as a basic orientation tool used to bring students to a common level of information about their online catalog.

Breakout Session Speakers

Elizabeth Rubens, IUPUI, will demonstrate a software package, WebCT (Web Course Tools), that allows instructors to design online courses, create their own Web sites, and more.

Brian Schuck, IU South Bend, will direct a hands-on session of setting up a "toolbox" of HTML templates, graphics and web utilities to facilitate the creation of online presentations and tutorials.
